ClearGate sanitizes locally before submission. Timing varies by device and prompt, and the extension shows the most recent sanitization time.
Which AI tools does it work with?+
ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude today. More integrations are on the roadmap.
Do you store or log my data?+
ClearGate does not write prompt text or real-to-placeholder mappings to extension storage or its servers. Mappings stay in the tab's memory; optional usage sync sends counts and category names only.
How long does installation take?+
Usually a few seconds. Open the official Chrome Web Store listing, choose Add to Chrome, and confirm.
Is the Free plan really free?+
